This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Maintenance Engineer with 6 months to 1 years building maintenance experience to join a company where you will have the opportunity to grow within the company.You will be working as a foot mobile engineer across the city of London on commercial building, providing basic maintenance (See duties below). Duties:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and testing of various electrical and mechanical systems, including Checking tap temperature, water flushing, AHUs, air conditioning systems, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and generators.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and daily inspections of plant areas, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and organisation at all times.
- Implement and follow PPM schedules in alignment with departmental objectives.
- Execute water management control measures as outlined in the Water Risk Assessment, such as flushing and temperature monitoring, while maintaining precise documentation.
- Address and resolve tasks logged in the company's system, prioritising workload and responding swiftly to emergency and reactive maintenance requests.
- Deal with building managers/clients on a daily basis.
- Support and assist in various projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience doing building maintenance within a commercial environment.
- Happy to work within a busy environment.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Proficient in both verbal and non-verbal communication.
Salary and Benefits:
- £28,000 - £32,000
- Travel expenses paid by the company
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
