Our client, a growing M&E contractor with a turnover of £50M, is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their reputable team. This role is a prime opportunity for an individual with a background in Mechanical and Electrical installations within the commercial sector. The company prides itself on delivering high-quality service and maintaining a stellar reputation in their market sector, handling projects from initial design to completion.

The Junior Project Manager will report to a Project Manager or Senior PM/Contracts Manager and attend both on-site and office meetings. They will manage and oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and handle sub-contractor coordination and management. Responsibilities include producing and reviewing technical submittals, RAMS, and progress reports, ensuring quality assurance for mechanical packages, and liaising with clients to provide progress updates. The Junior Project Manager will collaborate with the site team to resolve design queries before installation.

Candidates must have SSSTS/SMSTS/ECS Black Card certification and experience with a M&E sub-contractor, preferably within commercial projects. A stable career history with relevant mechanical qualifications and proven experience as a mechanical project lead or engineer is essential. An understanding of data centre construction is advantageous.
