Mechanical Project Engineer - Waste Water

Toro Recruitment is searching for a proactive and organised Project Engineer to join a dynamic Engineering Site Services team. This role involves managing projects from initial contract to completion, ensuring the seamless coordination of labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering and be adept at handling both technical and commercial aspects of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and deliver projects within agreed budgets and timelines.

• Interpret and handle commercial and contractual project requirements effectively.

• Conduct site surveys to define the scope of work and support accurate quotation preparation.

• Assist in creating detailed quotations for service and related projects.

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify and maximise business opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, ideally within the water or construction industries.

• Familiarity with regulations such as CDM, LOLER, DSEAR, and Confined Spaces.

• Strong commercial awareness, including experience with forecasting and contract management.

• Experience preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and project schedules.

• Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel within the Southeast London/West Kent region.
