Mechanical Project Engineer - Waste Water
Toro Recruitment is searching for a proactive and organised Project Engineer to join a dynamic Engineering Site Services team. This role involves managing projects from initial contract to completion, ensuring the seamless coordination of labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering and be adept at handling both technical and commercial aspects of projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and deliver projects within agreed budgets and timelines.

Interpret and handle commercial and contractual project requirements effectively.

Conduct site surveys to define the scope of work and support accurate quotation preparation.

Assist in creating detailed quotations for service and related projects.

Collaborate with sales teams to identify and maximise business opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, ideally within the water or construction industries.

Familiarity with regulations such as CDM, LOLER, DSEAR, and Confined Spaces.

Strong commercial awareness, including experience with forecasting and contract management.

Experience preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and project schedules.

Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel within the Southeast London/West Kent region.
