My client is a market leading, privately-owned Building Services contractor with a deep history, renowned for successfully delivering major Commercial, Pharmaceutical & Data Centre projects in the UK & Europe.

Reporting to the Senior MEP Project Manager, they require a Mechanical Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to manage the pipework and sprinkler packages on a major Data Centre scheme, for which they are appointed as Principal Contractor.

On top of basic salary, an excellent benefits package is provided, made up of the following:

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Review contract documents and prepare proposals, technical submittals, and RFIs with the CAD team.
  • Work closely with commercial teams on labor costs, procurement, and final accounts.
  • Take financial responsibility for project budgets and cost control.
  • Supervise site staff and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Represent the company in progress, design, and client meetings.
  • Communicate regularly with estimating, commercial, and contract teams.
  • Track and maintain project KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintain strong client-facing communication skills.
  • Hold relevant Mechanical/Building Services qualifications and certifications.
  • Use IT tools effectively for project management and reporting.
