Mechanical Building Services Project Manager - Small Works Division (Projects up to 250k)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a long established and highly-respected Mechanical and Electrical Building Services contractor based in Canary Wharf.

Working across multiple sectorsincluding commercial, office fit out, banks, education, healthcare, retail and leisure, with typical project values ranging from 50k upto 5m, the company are a leading M&E Building Services contractor who provide a full range of Mechanical and Electrical services, from design through to installation and commissioning, and as a result of continued growth they are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for their Small Works Division.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting into the Mechanical Director, you will lead and manage mechanical services small works projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • You will be responsible for managing various small works projects ranging from 10k up to 250k
  • Coordinate with engineers, sub-contractors/suppliers, and clients to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring progress against these benchmarks.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
  • Ensure all documentation is maintained accurately throughout the project duration.

Mechanical Project Manager - Desirable Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experienced Mechanical Project Manager or similar role, i.e. Mechanical Contracts Manager, M&E/MEP Project Manager
  • Experience in successfully managing and delivering mechanical projects up to 250k from inception through to completion
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • CSCS/SMSTS
