Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing fast-track commercial fit-out projects up to 6M.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications/certifications (e.g., SMSTS).
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Programme Software.

Job Overview:

  • Build strong rapport with clients, consultants, and supply chain.
  • Supervise Assistant Project Manager, Site Supervisor, and Apprentice Project Manager as needed.
  • Plan, procure, and organize labor, materials, and plant activities.
  • Ensure project delivery within agreed time, cost, and specification.
  • Timely placement of sub-contractor and equipment orders aligning with the programme and Project Cost Report (PCR) targets.
  • Collaborate with project surveyor for accurate costings and timely client invoicing.
  • Adhere to technical, contractual, quality, legal, and health & safety standards.
  • Monitor progress against the client's programme and ensure target dates are met.
  • Develop and continually update the Sale programme; include updates in weekly Progress Reports.
  • Attend weekly client meetings to review progress and site coordination.
  • Prepare and issue Technical Submissions, RFIs, Builderswork Requests, Benchmarks, and Progress Reports as directed by the Contracts Manager.
  • Coordinate Sale drawings with subcontractors and trades.
  • Conduct self-snagging, oversee subcontractor snagging, and address client snag reports promptly for smooth project completion.
  • Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements for safe work planning.
  • Ensure personnel competency and compliance with equipment regulations.
  • Conduct necessary inspections per regulations and project specifications.
  • Report and investigate all accidents and near misses.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
  • Attend pre-construction site surveys and tender presentations as requested.
