Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred.
We are working with a Engineering Contractor with a reputable name in the London and surrounding areas, who have been operating for over 50 years, delivering high quality mechanical installation projects that have seen repeat business. They are now looking to expand their team, by hiring a Mechanical Project Manager.
The role offers a competitive salary, travel expenses, along with pension. The Mechanical Project Manager will collaborate closely with the Commercial and Production teams on site and at their Head Office. Looking for someone with the Mechanical shell and core experience, cat A fit out and main plant installation knowledge as well as having the character to get on deliver projects from cradle to grave. Typically their projects range from 100k to 3 million.
Job Requirements
* Strong Mechanical knowledge
* Electrical Knowledge - not essential
* Experience delivering Mechanical projects 100k - 3Million
* Work well in a team, as well as individually to get a task completed
* Maintain and build new relationships and communication is key
* Excellent project management skills, demonstrated with the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources
* Problem solving and working well under time pressure, closely a job to PC
A valid CSCS card and health and safety qualifications (SMSTS, First Aid, etc.) are preferred.
