Mechanical Project Manager

Introduction:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage mechanical projects with a focus on district heating systems for commercial buildings.
• Oversee project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring projects meet time, cost, and quality targets.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage and monitor mechanical works, including HVAC, district heating, plant rooms, and associated systems.
• Monitor project budgets, procurement, and schedules to ensure adherence to commercial and technical specifications.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality control, and compliance with regulations.
• Provide technical support and leadership to project teams and subcontractors.
• Develop strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and the potential for repeat business.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager with commercial experience in district heating systems.
• A strong understanding of HVAC systems, district heating, and associated mechanical systems.
• Experience managing large-scale, long-term projects within the construction or M&E sectors.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a similar field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Previous experience with managing budgets and commercial aspects of projects.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with both new build and refurbishment projects.
• Knowledge of the latest energy efficiency standards and sustainability practices.
