We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a focus on sprinkler systems to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity will see you overseeing mechanical projects that involve the design, installation, and management of advanced sprinkler systems, ensuring high standards and the successful completion of projects within specified timeframes and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage mechanical projects involving sprinkler systems from start to finish, ensuring all project milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks while maintaining strict adherence to health and safety requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring systems are installed and maintained correctly.
  • Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and presentations for senior management and clients.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager.
  • knowledge of sprinkler system design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Experience managing mechanical projects within the construction, engineering, or fire protection sectors.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with clients and contractors.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
