This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading sustainability consultancy who provide specialist services to residential and commercial projects across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Overheating Specialist to join their Energy team who provide nationwide services.

Key Responsibilities for an Overheating Specialist include:

  • Using IES software to conduct thermal modelling, overheating, and thermal comfort analysis
  • Carry out Overheating and Part O assessments
  • Undertake energy assessments, statements, and modelling improvements for planning, whilst ensuring building designs are complying with Part L

The ideal Overheating Specialist will have:

  • Strong experience within a sustainability or building physics engineer role within the built environment
  • Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out overheating analysis within accordance of CIBSE TM52 and TM59 guidelines
  • Relevant degree within a sustainability or engineering discipline
  • Experience in a previous role leading on overheating projects and mentoring junior team members
  • Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations such as Part O
  • Strong attention to detail
