Responsibilities and duties

As the Planning Engineer you will:
  • Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules in relevant planning software (Primavera P6 or equivalent)
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential delays and risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to integrate their schedules into the overall project timeline.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual milestones, industry regulations, and company procedures.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and recommend strategies to maintain or improve project timelines.
  • Support the claims and variation process, providing planning data and analysis as required.



Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field
  • Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in an EPC or construction environment.
  • Background in water treatment, utilities, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project sequencing, and risk management.
  • Understanding of NEC, FIDIC, or other relevant contract frameworks is beneficial.
