Plumber/Water Hygiene Engineer
Salary: 32,000.00 - 42,000.00 per year
Location: London and surrounding areas (door to door)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday (usual finish 3pm) Overtime available
Our client are looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team, the company provide comprehensive water treatment solutions across various industries, particularly healthcare. This role involves ensuring the compliance of water systems through regular maintenance and inspections.
Responsibilities for the Water Hygiene Engineer:
- Servicing, installing and replacing Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs)
- Monitoring and testing water systems
- Cleaning and inspecting water tanks.
- Performing remedial plumbing tasks
- Carrying out small installation works
- Removing dead-legs from water systems
- Preventing system breakdowns by inspecting and replacing worn components
- Troubleshooting hazards or malfunctions, repairing or substituting damaged units
Skills/Experience expected for the Water Hygiene Engineer:
- Proven experience in water engineering, with a focus on plumbing and water treatment
- Relevant plumbing qualifications and certifications
- Experience working in a commercial environment.
- Proficiency in using a variety of testing equipment.
- Thorough understanding of safety procedures and legal regulations
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility for overtime work
- Full UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience working within water hygiene
- TMV servicing certification
- Legionella Awareness Training
