Attega Group is currently working with a leading commercial drainage company in the UK, is expanding its Planned Maintenance & Reactive team and seeking a talented individual to carry out planned & reactive maintenance

About the Role:As a Drainage Engineer, you will play a crucial role will be responsible for supporting with reactive call outs and delivering planned quoted works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must demonstrate technical knowledge and competency in undertaking internal and external drainage clearance works, above ground and below ground descales with use of HPWJ and mechanical coring/ milling equipment.
  • Must be competent in using Picote milling machines and HPWJ equipment for internal and external planned and reactive works.
  • Must have a passion for problem solving for all areas of reactive drainage works.
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer focused attitude.
  • Competent in attending reactive emergency call outs to clear internal above ground blockages, including soil stacks, floats lines and small-bore pipework.
  • Capable of identifying configuration and design issues within internal drainage systems.
  • Competent in undertaking CCTV inspections with looksee camera.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual and it is important that you have excellent people, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Competent in removing and replacing small bore waste pipe on pot wash sinks, basins, urinals etc

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 years experience as a Drainage Engineer.
  • 1 year experience with plumbing.
  • Picote Training
  • A full UK clean license.
