Mechanical Pre-Construction Engineer

Manage projects from Stage 3/4 design development to site handover, supporting pre-construction activities and reporting to the Senior Mechanical Pre-Construction Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Coordination: Assist with supplier and subcontractor enquiries, bid reviews, and procurement.
- Design Audits: Conduct reviews, raise RFIs, and identify Value Engineering (VE) opportunities for cost-effective solutions.
- CDP Subcontractor Oversight: Manage CDP subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Consultant Liaison: Coordinate with external design consultants to meet specifications and timelines.
- BIM & Drawings: Manage BIM and working drawings to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Technical Submittals: Prepare and issue technical submittals aligned with project standards.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to Design Team meetings, providing technical expertise.
- Reporting: Deliver clear, detailed preconstruction reports to clients.
- Change Management: Support QS in managing variations and ensuring proper documentation.
- Factory Tests: Attend Factory Witness Tests to verify compliance with standards.
