Principal Civil Engineer

Principal Civil Engineer - London
Due to growth, my client are actively looking to hire a Principal Engineer to provide leadership to large Civils project teams or a number or smaller teams and help develop the infrastructure capability of a growing Civil and Structural department.
The Principal Engineer will ensure that project teams deliver civil and structural designs to cost, schedule and quality criteria as well as ensure project teams have in place appropriate skills and resources.
The successful candidate will have a strong focus on ensuring compliance with business quality & management systems as well as provide your innovative input in implementing change as directed by leadership.
Key Objectives
·Ensure regional team performance meets overall business objectives commercially and technically by providing team and operational leadership
·Ensure regional team has in place appropriate skills and resources to suit workload
·Ensure compliance with business quality & management systems and work towards continual improvement of these
·Implement change as directed by the Director and leadership team

You will:
·Be a Chartered Member of ICE and/or IStructE
·Have an appropriate depth and breadth of experience including ability to demonstrate fully developed leadership and management capabilities both within project teams and for wider departmental and business duties
·SC clearance, or eligible for this
·Full Clean Current UK Driving Licence
