As a Principal Civil Engineer you would be a key member of the team and have heavy involvement in the infrastructure, highways and drainage designs. You would be a main contact for junior colleagues to work alongside in developing their skills and knowledge. Our client is looking for the successful candidate to have BEng Civil Engineering or MEng Civil Engineering qualifications, membership of relevant professional body ( eg ICE). You may be working towards chartership status or already chartered. You would have substantial UK construction industry design consultancy experience across a number of sectors including the residential sector.

You would have good commercial awareness and client liaison experience, with a hands-on approach to detail design and a good understanding of relevant codes and current industry standards. Our client would expect you to have the ability to speak clearly, confidently and professionally when dealing with staff, clients and other members of the professional team.
