Senior / Principal Resident Engineer

Our client is urgently seeking a senior or principal resident engineer. You will join a leading provider of all construction related services who embrace technology and pioneering new techniques.
They benefit from offices throughout the UK and Europe and support career development at all levels, offering a nurturing culture.
They are seeking a talented candidate who can deliver and manage a range of projects, lead a team and provide technical advice. Proficient communicator who can liaise at all levels with internal and external parties, and able to demonstrate extensive engineering and project management experience.
About you:
- Chartered engineer, either IStructE or ICE, who holds a relevant degree in engineering
- Experience managing projects being responsible for day-to-day workload
- Supervising design and production output
- Confident in communicating project updates to senior management
- Capable of working on challenging projects, delivering within programme
- Experience managing colleagues to ensure tasks achieve project milestones
- In depth knowledge of CDM Regulations
The successful candidate will carry out on-site tests and inspections, audit sub-contractors and monitor & maintain records to produce quality reports.
You will also be required to carry out general inspections and respond to site queries.
