Key Responsibilities:

Designing and developing highway projects including links, roads junctions, and walking/cycling routes
Utilising AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MicroDraiange/InfoDrainage software for detailed design work and planning approvals
Contributing to Section 278 and Section 38 agreements
Ensuring all designs comply with current standards and regulations
Collaborating closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes
Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and team members
Managing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation for planning approval

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in the highways engineering sector
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Site3D
Experience with designing and implementing highway links, roads junctions, and walking/cycling routes
Understanding of Section 278 and Section 38 agreements
Strong knowledge of planning approval processes and detailed design principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
