Key Responsibilities:
- Production and agreement of drainage strategies
- Modelling and review of existing drainage networks
- Undertaking flood risk assessments and determining effective solutions
- Experience of attenuation and pollution controls
- SuDS design from concept through to implementation
- Drainage detail design
- Stakeholder engagement
- Value addition and knowledge sharing on all works
- Ensuring quality control
- Assisting in the estimation of works costs and bidding of new works
Job Requirements:
- Chartered or working towards Chartered status in an appropriate professional body
- Demonstrable experience in drainage engineering within both local authority and private sector
- Skills and experience across a range of projects including attenuation, SuDS, and public realm
- Knowledge within highways, public realm, and the civil engineering industry
