Our client, a prominent firm in the infrastructure sector, is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to join their expanding team in Perth. Key Responsibilities:
- Resolving complex problems within drainage, civil engineering, and utility sectors
- Strategic infrastructure planning and engineering design, including road and drainage scheme evolution
- Negotiating and securing S104 and S106 agreements with sewerage authorities
- Interpreting and discharging planning conditions related to drainage, highways, and infrastructure works
- Conducting utility clash detection analysis using 3D design software
- Developing infrastructure design packages from concept through to construction
- Preparing and presenting technical memos, design reports, design packages, and drawings/models
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective remote communication
Job Requirements:
- Experience in drainage and utilities engineering
- Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and AutoCAD
- Understanding of Document Control and Common Data Environment (CDE) software such as Aconex or A-Site
- Ability to interpret and manipulate site information and records
- Experience with UK Engineering Standard guidelines relating to drainage and highways infrastructure
- Educated to a minimum degree level in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional institution
- Significant post-graduate experience within a design consultancy or contracting environment
