Our client is currently seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent role, offering an exciting opportunity to work on diverse development infrastructure and local authority projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing drainage systems using INFODRAINAGE and Microdrainage software
- Developing flood risk assessments, SuDS strategies, and managing drainage flows
- Collaborating with the infrastructure team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
- Coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations
- Managing project deliverables and timelines effectively
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Preparing detailed reports and documentation for project reviews
- Participating in occasional site visits and on-site activities
Job Requirements:
- Experience in drainage design and infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in using INFODRAINAGE and Microdrainage software
- Strong understanding of flood risk management and SuDS principles
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across disciplines
- Exceptional communication and report writing skills

- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
