Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Design EngineerLocation: LondonType: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Competitive, based on experienceAre you a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer looking to join an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy? Company:Based in London, my client are a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy that work within a range of sectors including infrastructure, specialist geotechnical design, education, health, commercial, residential, leisure, regeneration and master planning. They are currently in the market for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team and take on a leading role on projects. As part of this role you will be managing/mentoring more junior members of the team, checking work and upskilling.Requirements:
- A degree in civil engineering, geology and/or engineering geology with a focus on geotechnical engineering modules.
- Experience within an engineering consultancy with people and project management skills commensurate with the role.
- Strong interpretive report writing and geotechnical analysis skills.
- Experience in the use of geotechnical software such as Plaxis, Wallap, Oasys suite (PDisp, XDisp, Alp) etc.
- A UK driving licence.
- The ideal candidate will have a number of years experience in a similar role within a consultancy.
