An exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in London, has presented itself. You'll be joining a team of geotechnical and geo-environmental specialists on a range of projects around the South East. The Senior Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a variety of responsibilities. These include:
- Liaising closely with clients, contributing to business development, contract managing, tendering and team development.
- Overseeing site and report work.
- Design of retaining walls, foundations and slope stability.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Ground movement assessments.
As a result, the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role requires previous experience in a similar role, with extensive knowledge in geo-environmental and geotechnical practices. You should have an industry relevant degree (for example geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science etc), ideally have or be working towards chartership, hold a full UK Driving Licence, have a full right to work in the UK and be commutable to the London area.
