Position: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus pension, bonus & benefits

Company Overview: A long established and independently owned consultancy that employs over 150 staff. Their expertise is within geotechnical, civil, M&E, environmental and building structures engineering. Your Role: As the leading geotechnical expert in the London office, you will report to the technical director. Your workload will encompass building and civil engineering projects in the UK and overseas. Duties will include the design of deep and shallow foundations, slopes, retaining walls and basements, assessment and remediation of slopes and earthworks, planning, management and supervision of ground investigations.
Profile Required: A geotechnical engineer with upwards of six years consulting engineering experience. You should hold an MSc in geotechnical engineering or soil mechanics, and be either chartered, incorporated or close to achieving chartered status. You will need experience of industry standard design and analysis software such as Lusus, Bentley, Oasys or similar packages. In addition, good interpersonal skills providing the ability to forge productive working relationships with colleagues and clients is essential.
