Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing highway projects including links, roads junctions, and walking/cycling routes
- Utilising AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Site3D software for detailed design work and planning approvals
- Contributing to Section 278 and Section 38 agreements
- Ensuring all designs comply with current standards and regulations
- Collaborating closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and team members
- Managing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation for planning approval
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in the highways engineering sector
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Site3D
- Experience with designing and implementing highway links, roads junctions, and walking/cycling routes
- Understanding of Section 278 and Section 38 agreements
- Strong knowledge of planning approval processes and detailed design principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
