An experienced Quantity Surveying Consultancy is seeking a qualified Senior Planner to join their dynamic project in London, now entering its third phase. This exciting opportunity is available for an immediate start.

Specialising in Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health Services (MEP) within the Construction Industry, this consultancy offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects with blue-chip clients across the UK. These projects span sectors such as MOD, Data Centres, Refurbishment, Commercial, Hospitality, Residential, and Healthcare.

The Senior Planner role

The Senior Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects by:

  • Developing time plans and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Traveling to various sites (all site-based).
  • Reporting directly to project managers and managing directors.
  • Collaborating closely with quantity surveyors and project managers.
  • Handling necessary administrative tasks.
  • Preparing, developing, and coordinating the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives.
  • Utilising the Asta planning program (training provided).

The Senior Planner

  • Holds a Master's degree in planning or a related field.
  • Has 4+ years of professional planning experience within the MEP sector.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present planning arguments.
  • Ideally, has experience using the Asta planning program.

In Return?

  • £60,000 to £65,000, depending on experience.
  • Site-based role with travel allowance and bonuses up for discussion.
  • Monday to Friday, typical working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
