Senior Project Engineer required on a long-term assignment basis, outside IR35, to support a global owner-operator in successfully developing and delivering a £350M highly complex CAPEX project.

This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Project Engineer looking for a long-term client-side opportunity, where you will be recognised as a subject matter expert within a global capital project delivery team, working closely with the Senior Project Manager overseeing the successful performance of a world renowned EPC partner.

As the Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the engineering deliverables are reached and that the scope is well-defined and ready for execution.

The role:

• Project Engineer working alongside the Senior Project Manager
• Client-side position overseeing the EPC contractor from FEED to handover
• Long Term contract assignment
• Risk Management and Construction supervision
• Definition of project scope in conjunction with the site's execution

The Ideal Candidate:

• 10 20 years of experience working within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical sectors
• Discipline Engineer with a BSc or MSc in a relevant engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Civil)
• Experience working on projects from FEED to Handover
• Modular/Construction experience is desirable
• Strong communication and management skills
