Senior Sustainability Engineer / Building Physics Engineer London Central - FarringdonSalary up to and around £65,000 + benefitsWant to work with a consultancy which can really take your career to the next step?Want to be part of a new and growing business with all the benefits of a flourishing company in a phase of expansion?If you’re after variety, career progression and flexibility, this is the role for you!About the company?Operating on all sides of building services design & Sustainability, this design engineering consultancies London office are in a phase of growth and are already hoping to grow their stable team of 5 Engineers by adding a new Sustainability Engineer, to work closely alongside a Technical Director and the rest of the Sustainability team, currently standing at 3 individuals.Based only a 10-minute walk from Farringdon station in central London, they’re offering a range of complex projects and the opportunity to help with the growth of the business. They operate 9 days in 10 working fortnight and provide plenty of hybrid / flexible working, usually 2 or 3 days in the office and the rest from wherever you see fit.   Working across a range of sectors on projects such as life sciences, universities and large private residential buildings, to name a few, working with some tip top London Architects. Ideally their next Sustainability hire will have around 2- or 3-years’ experience, or at a level where they can work independently, anyone up to Principal level to work closely alongside a Technical Director, closely shadowing their work.What they require from the successful Senior Sustainability Engineer / Building Physics Engineer?
  • Proven Building Physics / Sustainability engineering within the built environment, able to work independently or to a senior level.
  • Ambition to help grow and lead a team.
  • A good understanding and experience using modelling software such as IES, TAS or DesignBuilder.
  • A passion for sustainably designed buildings and the built environment.
  • Work independently as well as with a team, from the office and from home.
  • A hard working, flexible and versatile individual who isn’t afraid to ask questions and learn.
