PSR are currently working with a Rail Contractor all across London and are seeking a PTS Site Engineer to join their team on a multimillion pound Rail/Civils projects all over London, from bridge schemes, station upgrades, platform extensions and depot enhancement projects

Responsibilities:

As a PTS Site Engineer, you will be a pivotal figure in ensuring the successful execution of our rail projects. Your role will encompass:

  1. Project Management:Overseeing the entire project life cycle, you will manage depot enhancements, refurbishments, and new builds. Utilising your expertise in AutoCAD, you will contribute to meticulous planning and precise execution.
  2. Technical Expertise:Applying your proficiency in AutoCAD and setting out to provide intricate technical guidance in track work, signalling, electrification, and civil engineering. You will be a key player in ensuring that engineering solutions are not only efficient but also align with industry standards.
  3. Quality Control:Implementing stringent quality control measures through regular inspections, ensuring that all project aspects meet the high standards set by both industry regulations and client specifications.
  4. Collaboration:Engaging in seamless collaboration with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and address any technical challenges that may arise during the project.
  5. Health and Safety:Prioritizing and fostering a safety-first culture, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. You will lead by example, ensuring that all team members prioritize safety in every aspect of their work.
  6. Documentation:Rigorously maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation using AutoCAD, including precise drawings, comprehensive reports, and meticulous records.

Requirements:

  1. PTS Certification:A valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification is mandatory.
  2. Engineering Qualifications:Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  3. AutoCAD Proficiency:Demonstrable expertise in AutoCAD for precise project planning and execution.
  4. Experience:Proven experience in rail construction projects, particularly in depot enhancements, refurbishments, and new builds.
  5. Technical Skills:Proficient in relevant engineering software, with in-depth knowledge of rail industry standards and regulations.
  6. Communication Skills:Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  7. Problem-Solving:Strong problem-solving skills, enabling quick and effective resolution of challenges encountered during project execution.
