Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Site Supervisor preferably with SSSTS to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing Mechanical operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality with in the commercial industry. The position will be site based.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of mechanical technicians, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Utilize mechanical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Provide leadership in project management, overseeing the implementation of mechanical systems and processes.
- Manage and interpret logic controllers and schematics to ensure accurate and safe operation of equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for the team.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Requirements:
- SSSTS is preferred
- Proficient in English, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and leading mechanical teams.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of motivating and guiding others.
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles and experience in applying them to mechanical projects.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Proven experience in maintaining and optimizing mechanical equipment.
- Previous experience within the fit-out of superstores is highly desirable.
