A property and construction consultancy based in North London are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Building Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for the built environment and a desire to develop their career within a supportive, dynamic, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with a variety of building surveying projects, including both residential and commercial properties.
  • Support in the preparation and presentation of building surveys, reports, and schedules of condition.
  • Conduct site inspections and assist with defect analysis.
  • Contribute to the management of project timelines and client relationships.
  • Assist senior surveyors in preparing tender documentation and overseeing contractors on site.
  • Provide advice on building regulations, health and safety standards, and other compliance matters.

Key Requirements:

  • An RICS accredited Building Surveying degree.
  • Ideally, some experience within a building surveying role, though we will also consider strong graduates.
  • A desire to learn and progress within the building surveying profession.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A full driving license is preferred but not essential.
