Flux Consulting have partnered with a well-established and respected firm of Chartered Surveyors, providing expert advice on building surveying, party wall matters, and property consultancy. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their team.

As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will support the Senior Surveyors in a variety of projects, with a strong focus initially on party wall surveying so experience in this area is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a professional and supportive environment while working towards Chartered status (MRICS) with full APC support.

Key Responsibilities of this role include;

  • Assisting with party wall matters, including preparing notices and awards
  • Supporting building surveys, defect analysis, and project work
  • Preparing reports and schedules of condition
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other professionals
  • Assisting in contract administration and project management tasks

The ideal applicant will possess;

  • Relevant degree in Building Surveying or a related field
  • Experience in party wall surveying (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction methods
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop a career in building surveying
