A growing property and construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to join their collaborative team of 24 professionals in their brand new, state-of-the-art, North London office.
This role is perfect for a driven and experienced Associate Building Surveyor looking to progress towards a Partnership role within a dynamic and supportive environment.
The Role of the successful Associate Building SurveyorThe successful Associate Building Surveyor will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, and Architects, to deliver exceptional services to a diverse client base across commercial, retail, residential, and public sectors.
As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will focus on contract administration, project management, specification writing, building surveys, and pre- and post-contract services. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally and make a significant impact on the business's success, with the opportunity to run a small team.
Responsibilities:- Manage a variety of projects, from initial client brief to final delivery
- Conduct building surveys and prepare detailed reports
- Oversee contract administration and project management
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain client relationships
- Oversee a small team, invest in their progression and drive their success
This role is ideal for an Associate Building Surveyor with strong technical expertise, who thrives in a close-knit team and is confident in business development. You will have a consultancy background, a commercial mindset, and a proactive approach to both client management and team collaboration.
- MRICS qualification
- Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited)
- Solid experience in contract administration and project management
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Ambition to progress to Partnership level
- Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
