The Senior Building Surveyor Role
The successful Senior Building Surveyor will deliver a range of professional and project-related services for commercial properties, including design, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment.
In addition to client-facing responsibilities, you'll play a key role in supporting junior surveyors, contributing to their development, and eventually stepping into a direct management position within the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a full range of Building Surveying services for commercial property projects.
- Offering expertise in defect diagnosis, CDM Regulations 2015, and Building Regulation legislation.
- Managing Party Wall matters and delivering detailed, high-quality reports.
- Collaborating with the team to drive growth and success.
- Mentoring junior staff and preparing for future leadership responsibilities.
- Qualifications: MRICS accreditation with a RICS-accredited degree.
- Experience: Strong background in commercial property projects and professional services.
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication, business development acumen, and report-writing abilities.
- Attributes: Organised, client-focused, and eager to contribute to team growth and success.
- Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
