A leading property and construction consultancy is seeking an Associate Building Surveyor to enhance their successful team in the heart of London.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware Associate Building Surveyor to take on greater responsibility, lead direct reports, and play a vital role in a high-performing team.



The Role of the succesful Associate Building Surveyor

As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will work closely with the Partner, driving the growth and development of the London office. You'll manage an extensive portfolio of projects across sectors such as commercial, leisure, education, retail, and government.

This role also includes the responsibility of managing and mentoring junior team members, supporting their professional development, and fostering a culture of success and excellence.



Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage a diverse project portfolio across various sectors
  • Work closely with the Partner to drive strategic growth in the London office
  • Lead, manage, and mentor team members, supporting their development and success
  • Engage in business development to cultivate and expand client relationships
  • Contribute technical and commercial expertise to enhance service delivery


The Ideal Associate Building Surveyor

This role is ideal for a Chartered Associate Building Surveyor with a consultancy or private practice background.

  • MRICS qualification
  • 4+ years of experience in consultancy or private practice
  • Commercially and technically confident with a solid market understanding
  • Strong business development and communication skills
  • Previous management experience is beneficial
  • Driven, collaborative, and results-oriented
