An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Building Surveyor to join a construction consultancy based in Central London. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, with the potential for further career development in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and delivering building surveying projects from inception through to completion
  • Providing expert advice on building defects, dilapidations, and refurbishment projects
  • Undertaking technical due diligence and building surveys
  • Client relationship management, including advising on technical issues and project scope
  • Leading and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and support
  • Assisting with business development activities and fostering long-term client relationships

Key Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified
  • Proven experience in building surveying within the commercial, residential, or mixed-use sectors
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in building pathology, dilapidations, and contract administration
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving and client service
