The Associate Fire Engineer's Role
As an Associate Fire Engineer, you will take on a leadership role, guiding a team of talented engineers and contributing to the expansion of the fire safety division.
You'll work across a variety of exciting projects in both commercial and residential sectors, utilising your expertise to deliver excellence in fire safety solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and mentoring graduate and junior Fire Engineers.
- Conducting comprehensive fire risk assessments and FRAEWs.
- Performing both intrusive and non-intrusive fire safety surveys.
- Peer reviewing to ensure quality and compliance.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
The Ideal Associate Fire Engineer Will Have:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in Fire Engineering.
- An Engineering degree (MEng or MSc preferred).
- Chartered Engineer status or a commitment to achieving it.
- Proficiency in PAS9980:2022 and EWS1 forms.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
