One of our clients is currently seeking a skilled BIM Technician on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in supporting the technical design expertise within highways, utilities, and earthworks projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting infrastructure design projects with a focus on highways, utilities, and earthworks.
- Utilising AutoCAD and Civil3D extensively to develop accurate and detailed design drawings.
- Applying BIM processes and adhering to standards such as PAS1192-2.
- Managing and providing technical guidance to Civil Infrastructure Technicians.
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Undertaking design tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Job Requirements:
- Experience within infrastructure design, particularly in highways, utilities, and earthworks.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
- Working knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and standards, such as PAS1192-2.
- Ability to independently handle design tasks and make informed decisions.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Previous experience in line managing Civil Infrastructure Technicians.
