Associate Director – Building SurveyingLocation: London

A forward-thinking and dynamic construction and property consultancy, with a national presence across the UK, is seeking an Associate Director-level Building Surveyor to join their highly regarded London team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role, working closely as the No. 2 to the lead Director. It offers a clear and defined pathway to achieving Director-level responsibilities, making it an ideal career move for an ambitious Senior or Associate Building Surveyor.

The RoleAs an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role within the team, contributing to high-profile projects and delivering exceptional client outcomes. The primary focus will be on Residential projects, University frameworks, and Student Accommodation schemes, with additional opportunities to work within the Healthcare sector.

While the role leans towards project work, strong professional Building Surveying skills are essential, ensuring a fully rounded approach to delivering client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading on project management and contract administration for diverse and challenging schemes.
  • Providing due diligence advice.
  • Supporting the team with high-quality professional surveying services.
  • Acting as a mentor and role model within the team, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Candidate Requirements

  • MRICS qualification with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Proven expertise in Contract Administration, Project Management, and professional Building Surveying work.
  • Experience in residential and student accommodation projects is highly desirable.
  • Healthcare project experience is advantageous but not essential.
