A progressive and innovative construction and property consultancy, with multiple offices across the UK, is currently seeking a Director level Building Surveyor to join their London team and lead the department. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of a strong Building Surveying team as the lead Director, presenting an excellent opportunity for a highly ambitious Senior or Associate Building Surveyor aspiring to step into a Director position.

The Director level Building Surveyor will be responsible for various projects, including Commercial, Residential, University frameworks, and full Turn-key Student Accommodation projects. The role encompasses diverse tasks such as Contract Administration, Project Management, and Due Diligence. While prior experience in Commercial, Residential, or Education sectors would be advantageous, it is not essential. The emphasis of the role will be on project work, but a comprehensive skill set in Building Surveying is also necessary.

The ideal candidate for this position will hold MRICS Chartered status or have the ability to achieve it promptly through the experienced route. Demonstrable experience in team management and direct client interaction as a lead on projects will be crucial, irrespective of the specific sector experience.

In return, the selected candidate will receive an attractive salary of up to £95k base, with the possibility of earning a six-figure remuneration in the first year through performance-based bonuses. Furthermore, there will be opportunities to gain equity in the company in the long term, which will be contingent on demonstrating value to the team and the business. This equity will be rewarded as part of bonus payments, without any cash requirement. This structure has proven successful with previous candidates placed in similar roles within the organisation.

In addition to the competitive salary, bonus, and equity options, the package includes private healthcare, a pension plan, flexible working arrangements, and 27 days of annual leave, along with Christmas and bank holidays.
