An established SME consultancy, with over 30 years of success and four offices across the UK, is seeking a driven Building Surveyor to join their newly opened London office.

The Building Surveyor's Role

This role offers an exceptional platform for a career-focused Building Surveyor to thrive and progress rapidly. You will join a supportive, growing team working on diverse projects in commercial, residential, and education sectors across London and the surrounding areas.

As the Building Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the London office by delivering exceptional results to clients and supporting the Director in building a robust team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor graduate and assistant surveyors, helping them achieve their APC qualifications.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and delivering private sector projects across multiple sectors.
  • Conducting technical due diligence, condition surveys, and planned maintenance.
  • Supporting the Director in building and leading a high-performing team.
  • Mentoring junior surveyors and assisting with their APC journey.


The Ideal Building Surveyor will have

  • MRICS qualified (preferred) or working towards chartership.
  • RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying.
  • Demonstrated experience within private practice or consultancy.
  • Strong expertise in commercial, residential, and education sectors.
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills.
