Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Building Surveyor. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for inspecting and assessing the condition of buildings, identifying defects, and providing professional advice on maintenance, renovation, and repair works. You will also play a key role in preparing reports and specifications and ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in building inspection (L2 & L3 surveys), defect diagnosis, and building pathology
- General understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and materials
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
- Membership in a professional organization, such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), is a plus, ideally someone with AssocRICS accreditation.
Expectations
- Ability to conduct Level 2 (Home Buyer) and Level 3 (Building Surveys)
- Professional and friendly approach and able to communicate effectively
- IT literate (work from mobile device)
