My client, a specialist fire safety consultancy, is seeking a talented CFD Fire Engineer to join their growing team in London. Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply methodologies to analyse buildings, fire behaviour, and smoke movement.
  • Conduct CFD modelling and other engineering analyses, producing detailed reports.
  • Advise clients on fire safety solutions based on analysis results.
  • Review legislation, guidance, and client objectives to identify optimal fire safety strategies.
  • Investigate and develop new approaches to fire and smoke analyses.
  • Collaborate with and support team members to ensure project success.
Key Requirements
  • An engineering degree with a focus on fluid dynamics.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an engineer, including CFD modelling for fire safety or smoke ventilation.
  • Familiarity with fire safety design in the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical mindset, capable of identifying risks and providing solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
