Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Autodesk Civil 3D Technician with a strong background in highways design to support ongoing infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work on a contract basis, contributing to the design and delivery of highways projects. The role requires three days in-office in London, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Highways Design and Drafting:

    • Prepare detailed highways designs using Autodesk Civil 3D, including alignments, profiles, corridors, cross-sections, and earthworks.
    • Road layouts, Pavement design, Roundabout design and junction improvements.
    • Ensure designs align with technical standards and client specifications.
  2. Collaboration and Coordination:

    • Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs are accurate and feasible.
    • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including drainage and structural specialists, to deliver integrated designs.
    • Incorporate client and stakeholder feedback into design revisions.
  3. Quality Control and Compliance:

    • Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, including DMRB, Manual for Streets, and other relevant guidelines.
    • Conduct thorough checks of design outputs to maintain high-quality deliverables.
    • Provide support in preparing submissions for technical approvals.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain clear and organized records of project designs and revisions.
    • Prepare detailed documentation for client presentations and technical reviews.
