Our client, a prominent consultancy, is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their dedicated team. This permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure and highway projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing drainage designs including SuDS, S104, and private systems
- Designing highways in accordance with Section 38 and Section 278 regulations
- Conducting earthwork designs and calculations
- Creating external level designs for a range of projects
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions
- Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through effective communication
Job Requirements:
- Experience in infrastructure and highway design
- Proficiency in drainage design including SuDS, S104, and private systems
- Strong knowledge of highway design standards, particularly Section 38 and Section 278
- Experience in earthwork and external levels design
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or a related field
