Job Opportunity: Civilian Investigator – Operation Northleigh (Grenfell Tower Investigation)Location: Hendon Peel CentreContract: 12 Months (Potential for Extension)Contact: Lewis Ashcroft | .uk | Service Care Solutions are proud to be assisting with recruitment for Operation Northleigh – the criminal investigation into the Grenfell Tower Fire disaster. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the most significant criminal investigations ever undertaken in the UK.About the Roles: We are seeking experienced and accredited Civilian Investigators (PIP2) for two key areas:
  • Investigation Teams – with 1 day agile working per week
  • Central Disclosure Team – with 2 days agile working per week
Please note:Only candidates with PIP Level 2 accreditation and previous policing or investigative experience will be considered.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in building cases against individuals and organisations involved in the Grenfell Tower refurbishment.
  • Progress complex criminal investigations through action-led tasking.
  • Support disclosure processes in accordance with legal standards.
  • Review and assess evidential material, managing case files effectively.
Essential Requirements:
  • PIP2 accredited (must be active)
  • Previous police or law enforcement investigation experience
  • Experience handling major or complex investigations and disclosure
  • Strong written skills and confidence using police systems and MS Office
  • Willing to undergo CTC vetting (must begin vetting within 48 hours of receiving the link)
Contract Details:
  • Full-time, part-time or condensed hours (up to 10 hours per day) considered
  • Agile working available (1–2 days per week depending on team)
  • Candidates do not need current CTC clearance but must be willing to go through vetting
  • Candidates currently in active assignments within the MPS should not be approached
