Salary: 25,000 - 32,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00 - 16:00 or equivalent
Location: Office based - Greenwich
Role Responsibilities:
- Routine inspections, sampling and testing Aggregate/recycled and Earthworks materials, Concrete and Asphalt
- Leading the production of compressive strength specimens
- Taking part in research and development projects
- Particle size and density testing
- Physical material trials, reporting findings and specific progress
Desirable:
- Previous experience as a construction materials technician, an asphalt/ready mix concrete technician or as a site technician, groundworker, yard operative or laboratory technician within construction.
- in granular materials sampling, particle size distribution testing and strength testing would be beneficial.
- Desire to learn and develop within a brand-new role, attitude is crucial!
