An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Consultant, offering a competitive salary of £38,000 - £55,000 depending on qualifications and experience. This role is ideal for a professional with property sector experience, who is either working towards or holds a recognised third-party fire risk assessment accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct fire risk assessments (Types 1-4) for commercial and residential properties
- Develop fire strategies for complex buildings
- Perform passive fire protection surveys and ensure compliance with Building Regulations and Approved Documents
- Assess fire hazards, risks, and mitigation strategies using engineering principles
- Design, install, and evaluate fire detection, suppression, and control systems
- Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality fire safety consultancy services
- Minimum 5 years' experience in fire consultancy
- Experience with fire risk assessments and strategies within the property sector
- Strong knowledge of relevant fire safety regulations and building codes
- Working towards or holding a formal H&S qualification, such as NEBOSH
- Competent in applying fire engineering principles to protect people and property
- Salary of £38,000 - £55,000, including car allowance
