Fire Risk Assessor

Location: Hackney, London

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: £20.00 - £23.00 per hour

We are seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join our team in Hackney, London. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring fire safety across a diverse residential housing portfolio, including high-rise buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Type 1, 2, and 3 fire risk assessments in residential properties.
  • Work closely with the Fire Safety Manager and Building Safety Managers to maintain the highest standards of fire safety.
  • Ensure compliance with the Council's Fire Safety Management System and current regulations.
  • Provide clear reports and recommendations to improve fire safety measures.

Requirements:

  • Relevant fire risk assessment qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessment Level 3/4, IFE, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, Building Safety Act, and best practices.
  • Experience conducting fire risk assessments, particularly in residential settings.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
