A rapidly expanding Fire Safety, Health and Safety, and Environmental Consultancy is seeking a skilled and proactive Fire Risk Assessor to join their team.

This exciting opportunity involves working with prestigious clients across the UK, including multi-site organisations in property management, retail, and service industries.



The Fire Risk Assessor's Role

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will deliver expert fire safety consultancy to clients in the residential and commercial sectors.

Your role includes conducting comprehensive assessments, developing fire strategies, and providing clear advice to help clients reduce fire risks across their portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments for commercial and residential properties
  • Develop fire strategies for complex buildings and perform passive fire protection surveys
  • Provide expert fire safety advice and actionable recommendations to clients
  • Stay updated on relevant Building Regulations and Approved Documents
  • Work towards or maintain third-party fire risk assessment accreditation
  • Apply engineering principles to fire safety projects, including the design, installation, and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems


The Ideal Fire Risk Assessor Will Have

  • At least five years' experience in fire risk assessments, preferably in the property sector
  • Expertise in both commercial and residential fire risk assessments
  • Knowledge of fire safety design, construction, and layout principles
  • Familiarity with fire detection and suppression systems
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or willingness to achieve a formal H&S qualification
  • Strong understanding of fire hazards, risks, and mitigation strategies
